Reminder that Monday, February 28 is a Teacher Workday!

Our Durham Tech Liaison, Mr. DeSantis, will be on campus Friday, February 25 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. He will be assisting Seniors with completing their Durham Tech applications. Also any 10^th or 11^th grade students interested in CCP should meet with Mr. DeSantis during this time. He will be located in the Student Lounge. If you have any questions, see Ms. Settle.

All Seniors & Juniors that are planning on attending prom or purchase tickets need to see Ms. Street to get your mandatory waiver form that must signed and filed with the school.  These forms are due by May 4^th but do not wait.

Students, we are having Saturday School this Saturday, February 26 from 9 to 12.  Please arrive by 9:30 AM.

Attention all Seniors & Juniors, this will be the last month to have your prom guest get into prom for $55.  Starting March 1st, the cost will increase to $65.  Remember, your guest must be 21 or younger or must be at least a freshman in high school.   

ALL GUEST MUST BE APPROVED by Ms. Price in order to attend.  Guest forms are located in the Cybrary.

Is your creative journal or notebook busting at the seams?  Looking for a platform to test out your latest verses or lyrics?  Consider entering the 26^th Annual National Student Poetry Contest.  All grade levels can enter.  Poetry for cash and gift card prizes.  Deadline for entry is April 30th.  See Mr. Cousins for more information.

National Honor Society tutors to the rescue!

Honor Society students will be available to tutor in a variety of topics starting Wednesday, February 2nd, and moving forward weekly on Mondays and Wednesdays during lunch and after school in the cafeteria student lounge.

Let’s be clear, walk-ins are welcome during lunch and after school, but evenings are by appointment only in half hour time slots due to limited tutors.  

Students requesting help need to come prepared with all their work materials to make the most of the time.  If you need any assistance, please see Ms. Fletcher in room 109 or Ms. Black in room 115.
