The list to find what date(s) your child will test for EOG’s and/or EOC’s has been posted to Global Announcements for Monday-Wednesday. Other dates will be posted soon. Students and Canvas Observers have secure access to this information. Please pay close attention to this announcement and let Ms. Barnes know if you have any questions.

All parents–If you don’t have your Parent Portal account, we are available Monday-Friday 8:30 — 4:00 for you to stop by the school to pick up your Parent Portal Account information. You will need to bring your picture ID. If these hours are not convenient for you, please call the school so we can assist you with getting your Parent Portal information. You may also contact your child’s homeroom teacher for assistance.
Parent Portal is how you will access your child’s final report card and can keep track of grades and attendance throughout the school year. It is extremely important that you have your own account and not only view your student’s account.

The link to register your child for Operation Summer Learning is listed below. Middle school students who continue to be recommended for summer learning will be contacted in the coming weeks. High school students who are at-risk of attending summer school have been contacted. All high school students who were contacted should register. If we find that high school students do not have to attend after final grades are in, then you will be removed from the list. Thanks to those of you who have already registered. Our middle school students will attend at Carrington Middle School and our high school students will attend at SCS. Middle school hours are 7:45 a.m. — 2:30 p.m. and high school hours are 9:00 — 1:00 p.m. Dates are June 14-July 2. SCS students will only attend Session #1 due to our year-round schedule. If you have questions about summer learning, you may contact Ms. Settle for high school and Ms. Price for middle school.

Students will have mostly live Zoom meetings through June 4; there may be select days that teachers have asynchronous assignments posted due to testing responsibilities. School does not end until June 4 and attendance will be taken each day. We expect students to be in attendance and engaged each day. We can’t afford to miss any instructional time. Students should check into each teacher’s Canvas page daily. They should also check their Global Announcements daily which they can find on their Dashboard.

High school students who plan to drive to school next year…the cost for a parking pass is $75.00. Start planning now. You’ll be able to pay for this the week before school starts. You will not be able to park without a parking pass.
