Good Evening SCS Families. This is Ms. Price with your Weekly Message for the week of February 15. 

Tomorrow, Monday, February 15 is a Teacher Workday and a Remote Learning Day for students. Teachers may have left assignments for students in CANVAS. Students have been instructed to check CANVAS for all classes. Synchronous classes in Zoom will resume on Tuesday. 

All High School Students in grades 9– 12 please complete the High School Fee Waiver form. This is located in global announcements within Canvas.

Progress Reports will be available in PowerSchool February 22. Please ensure that you have communicated with your teachers and let us know if you have any questions regarding your assignments and/or grades. 

Gryphons, we continue our celebration of Black History Month and hope that you have found some events to enjoy. Remember to keep an eye on our SCS calendar for Zoom links to lectures, tours and exhibits that will enlighten you about some new facts and events. This calendar will be updated all month, so don’t miss out. Many of these events are accessible to the public and are held during the evenings, so we hope that you will enjoy these with your families. 

We are still collecting funds for one of our students and his family who lost all of their belongings in a devastating house fire. We would like to support them during this difficult time. The GoFundMe account is listed in this message email, my blog and social media.  https://gofund.me/93fe36f5
